BAYTON Primary School opened its doors to prospective families, while current pupils and parents built a greenhouse from more than 1,500 recycled plastic bottles.
The eco-friendly construction was in the planning for more than a year and took just one day to create. It has a wooden frame and is made of more than 1,500 bottles.
Bayton’s current and future children will use the greenhouse to grow plants.
Visitors also got to see the new reception building, which had been built over the summer.
The wooden clad classroom has been designed to enhance indoor and outdoor learning opportunities as appropriate to the foundation stage early years curriculum.
