A CHARITY shop due to open in Stourport is seeking volunteers.
St Richard’s Hospice will open the store in the High Street in May and is looking for people to help run it.
An informal coffee morning will be held at the Windlass Café, Severnside South from 11am until 1pm on Wednesday next week.
It will give potential volunteers for St Richard’s 18th charity shop the opportunity to meet existing volunteers, shop managers and the volunteer services co-ordinator.
Julie Fergusson, area manager for Stourport, Bewdley and Droitwich, said: “We are hoping it will prove just as successful as our newly opened store in Bewdley.
“We are looking forward to welcoming customers when we open and hope local people will come forward to volunteer.”
It will sell women’s and men’s clothing as well as books and bric-a-brac.
St Richard’s Hospice provides free specialist palliative care for patients living with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses and their families.
