I had heard loads of positive things about Trials Evolution and given the fact that I had not played the previous game, Trials HD, I was really looking forward to the launch. I was launched on 18th April 2012 and I promptly downloaded from Xbox Live and I wasn’t disappointed.
Trials Evolution is a hugely fun, gripping, exciting, easy to play motor cross style racing game that is exclusive for the Xbox 360. The game is very easy to pick up and play and has many game modes including single player, co-op and online multiplayer. The single player is fantastic and has four licenses to compete for along with some challenges and very left field events!
In Trials Evolution the name of the game is to complete the race in as faster time as possible and at the same time avoid crashing. Checkpoints help guide along the way and new License tests help newcomers learn how to play the game. It has the same look and feel as the previous game but overall the gameplay have improved. The game also as a much more gradual learning curve than its predecessor which makes the game easier to learn.
The game also adds multiplayer, which is excellent with friends locally or online, but still satisfying with random people. Evolution's graphics are much improved and everything looks great. The soundtrack adds to the game and the sound effects are superb and really add a level of realism to the game play.
You can customize your rider you can choose different clothes for your rider and different paint jobs for your bike. Within the game there are stacks of levels and now with the added community element potentially thousands of extra tracks to play on.
All of which you can challenge your friends with and hopefully get more gold medals!
This game is a download only game so you will need to have your Xbox 360 connected to the Internet but it is well worth every penny or points, 1200 to be exact.
