SIXTH formers from Stourport High School were given an insight into how the Shuttle is produced as part of a project for work experience week.
Six students, who are all considering careers in the media, met with editor Clive Joyce to discuss the newspaper's print and website operation, and learned about life in the newspaper industry and training and job opportunties.
Editor Clive Joyce said: "It was good question-and-answer session and hopefully the students will have learned something about the kind of career they can expect if they pursue jobs in the media after their studies."
The sixth formers will be working on stories for the school's website when they return after the summer break and it is hoped they will also be involved in The Shuttle's new-look School Scene project which gives Wyre Forest high schools access to the Shuttle's website to promote their activities.
