BRAVE volunteers are needed to take the plunge in a charity abseil down Abberley Hall clock tower.
The abseil has been organised to raise money for St Richard’s Hospice in Worcester, which cares for patients with life-threatening illnesses.
The tower is 141ft tall and 21 volunteers have already signed up to go over the edge.
Event organiser Lizzie Brazier said: “The Abberley clock tower is a landmark known by many people who live and travel through Worcestershire. There are amazing views and everyone who took part last year said it was a fantastic and memorable experience.”
The abseil will take place on Sunday, August 12 and volunteers will need at least £50 sponsorship as well as £25 to cover training costs on the day.
