OLYMPIC UPDATE: Young ranked ninth after first day of Olympic action
BEWDLEY sailor Alison Young is ranked ninth after the first day of action in the Laser Radial class.
The 25-year-old Trimpley Sailing Club member finished seventh in race one and then 10th in the second round in Weymouth to leave her still very much in the fight for an Olympic medal.
Ireland's Annalise Murphy tops the leaderboard after winning both of today's rounds.
Young will be back in action tomorrow in round three and four.
