THREE young Wyre Forest dancers have been selected to take to the stage with English Youth Ballet in its production of Swan Lake.
Isabel Barlow, nine, Georgina Cooper and Chloe Edwards, both eight, were chosen from more than 300 young ballet dancers to join the cast.
The three dancers will be perfoming at Wolverhampton Grand Theatre on Friday, September 21 and two shows on Saturday, September 22.
They will take part in an intensive 10-day rehearsal process allowing them to experience the life of a professional ballet dancer.
Burlish Park Primary School pupil Isabel Barlow, of Kidderminster said: “I started dance lessons because I really wanted to see what it was like and how to do the steps.
“I love ballet and I would like to be a dancer.”
Georgina, of Great Witley attends Abberley Hall School and Chloe, of Kidderminster, is a pupil at Franche Community Primary School.
The three girls will be playing the role of a Tsar’s niece.
Ben Garner, company manager said: “Working with English Youth Ballet will be one of the highlights of these talented young dancers’ careers to date. The audience are in for a unique and exciting experience too.
"They will be seeing both top international principal artists and the best young talent from their region sharing the stage.”
