STOURPORT High School students are celebrating another record year of GCSE results.
Five A* to C grades including English and maths were achieved by 67 per cent of students which is a four per cent increase on last year's results.
The overall pass rate for 5 or more GCSEs was 90 per cent.
Principal Liz Quinn said: "For the last four years Stourport High School has been recognised by the Government as being in the top 100 schools nationally for continuous improvement and these results show that this impressive performance is continuing.
"It’s a stunning tribute to the hard work and dedication shown by the students, their parents and our staff, especially as we are a true comprehensive school which has students of all ranges of ability."
"When the Government raised the bar and challenged schools to achieve five top GCSE grades including English and mathematics, we took this challenge head on."
Sixteen-year-old Ashley Breese juggled training for the England ski team along with his GCSEs.
Ashley, who achieved one A, four Bs and four Cs, said: "School have let me have any time off I need, but they did send me extra work to do.
"I'm in the older category now for skiing and the British skiers are pretty good. I might miss the next Winter Olympics but maybe I'll give the one after a go."
