KIDDERMINSTER'S Claire Cashmore made a solid start in the pool as she booked her place in tonight's 100m butterfly final.
The Wyre Forest swimmer came second in her heat in the S9 category in a time of one minute and 13.26 seconds, which means she is sixth fastest going into the medal deciding race tonight.
She will be up against fellow Paralympic GB teammate Stephanie Millward, who was the fourth fastest in qualifying. The final is scheduled for 7.30pm tonight.
