THREE school leavers from Kidderminster are to take their oath of allegiance tomorrow to join the army.
Jordan Sabin and Brad Gibbons both of King Charles I School and Luke Tramontana of Bewdley School will join the service at Worcester Guildhall.
The three 16-year-olds will pledge allegiance to Queen and country in front of the Mayor of Worcester, Roger Berry as well as proud families and friends.
Jordan and Luke will be entering the Royal Armoured Corps, Queen’s Royal Hussars while Brad will be entering Mercian.
There are 13 young men and women in total from Worcestershire who will be beginning their military career at the Army Foundation College in Harrogate.
Sergeant Hartmann, army recruitment advisor said: “The Army Foundation College provides a great opportunity for young people to train as soldiers, while also allowing them to gain further qualifications and continue with their education.
“I’m delighted that this group of local young people are taking this important first step towards a military career and I wish them all the best for the future.”
