A CLOWS Top-based garden and landscape timber products specialist is making inroads into a new market sector.
M&M Timber is to provide a promotional design-and-build service for the retail trade.
In response to demand earlier this year, the company introduced a new range of promotional merchandising display and staging units for garden centres and other retail outlets across the UK.
In addition to the display units, M&M Timber has recently launched a new bespoke design service, custom making individual display units. Webbs of Wychbold was among the first to place an order.
M&M Timber has been commissioned to construct a welcoming new main entrance structure for Studley Garden Centre and has received a further commission from Boyd Douglas-Davies to construct rose tables and trellis displays at its latest acquisition, Hilltop Garden Centre at Ramsden in Oxfordshire.
M&M's commercial director Andy Hodge said: “We are currently supplying around 400 independent garden centres around the UK with timber garden products so, when enquiries began to come in for in-house display benches and stages, we immediately recognised the business potential.”
