AN event is being held in Abberley to advise farmers on how they can achieve better returns from breeding and forage.
The workshop, organised by the EBLEX Better Returns West Midlands Programme in conjunction with ADAS, takes place on Tuesday, July 13, at Bank Farm, Abberley, from 2.30pm to 8pm.
It will cover the basics of implementing a breeding strategy and the use of forage crops to finish lambs. An expert will also lead a discussion on how to improve grassland management.
To register for a free place, call Emma Horn on 07584 036622 or email emma@betterreturnswm.org.uk.
EBLEX is the organisation for beef and lamb levy payers in England and is a division of the Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board (AHDB).
