Growth Accelerator, a government backed service led by some of the country’s most successful growth specialists, is helping businesses to grow four times faster than average.
Many local organisations across the region have signed up to this initiative following the deepest recession seen in recent times. The economy is beginning to recover and many businesses are finding the new challenge is keeping up with increased orders and meeting increased market demands.
Hewett Recruitment have built a very successful business over the 34 years in business and felt this was a good time to move into their next phase of growth. They joined Growth Accelerator in March of this year and have enjoyed the added support and advice they have received from their coach.
Louise Hewett explained. “We had already formulated plans for growth, but Growth Accelerator has been excellent in keeping us on track. In our business there are always new projects and contracts going on but having regular meetings with our coach has kept us from getting diverted onto other things which is so easy to do!”
Hewett have recruited six new staff so far this year with plans for further expansion over the next three years. Ben Mannion Strategic Development Director added “We have a great team – with a very low turnover of staff and high standards of expertise amongst our consultants. We have been delighted by the response to our own recruitment drive – we are always advising on our clients recruitment strategies so it’s good to know we are getting it right for ourselves too! We are still open to applications from top quality recruiters - people love to work at Hewett’s - we always strive to be the best place to work in the industry locally.”
