I WRITE in support of Gill Atkin's letter (February 28), regarding the change to blood test appointments at Kidderminster Hospital.
I have attended the hospital on a regular basis for the past five years for blood tests, some times as early as 8am for a "fasting test", but at no time have I waited more than 20-25 minutes.
I say do not change this fantastic "drop-in" routine. The staff are superb and very quick.
To change an appointment system will create administration costs and cut down on the amount of appointments available.
Why do we need to change a system that works very well?
