I AM very concerned about the number of pedestrians who neglect their safety by failing to use pedestrian crossings in Stourport.
Only the other day I was driving along Bridge Street when a group of people came out of a public house and ran across the road in front of my oncoming car to get to the public house opposite when there was a pedestrian crossing about 20 yards away.
This group of people were obviously on a day out touring the pubs, but this could have proved disastrous but for my alertness.
Another concern of mine is the number of youngsters who use cycles as toys, dodging the traffic etc.
Bicycles are forms of transport and should be ridden with respect.
