IT has now been several months since the resurfacing of York Street in Stourport, and while we have acquired some markings, others are still sadly lacking.
The directional arrows before the pedestrian crossing have been painted, yet the pre-existing ones at the exit are still missing.
Restrictions and bay markings shine brightly, yet the previously worn-out lane division has yet to be marked.
Likewise the hatching at the entrance dividing Lion Hill and Mart Lane is still missing.
While it may have been thought that only one set of directions are necessary, if the council has decided that York Street should be considered to be one lane would they do us the courtesy of both informing the general public and adding a ‘Give Way’ sign to one of the two entrances to prevent any possible confusion?
