IN addition to the nationally important events and anniversaries occurring this year, there is an annivers- ary of local interest to be celebrated. October will see the 25th annual Bewdley Festival, an event of which the many volunteer workers over the years can be justly proud.
For a prestigious festival to be run by volunteers and to succeed for such a long period is rare.
As you can imagine, those involved have many interesting and amusing tales to tell but the organisers would also love to share everyone’s memories of the festival.
If you are prepared to share a festival anecdote with our members and possibly readers of The Shuttle, please send them by email to admin@bewdleyfestival.org.uk or by post to Bewdley Festival, Snuff Mill Warehouse, Park Lane, Bewdley DY12 1JA.
