The 1st Kidderminster Boys' Brigade went to the Wyre Forest over Easter. Our Company was joined by the 1st Lye Boys' Brigade who we have had many joint camps with. The younger Boys slept inside Coopers Mill Cottage while the older Boys and some of the staff slept in tents. It was certainly cold on the evenings with coldest being on the Friday night.
On the Saturday we had a chance to meet some birds of prey a Hawk and a Kestrel. The Boys had the chance to hold the birds and learn something about them. In the afternoon we walked through a snowy forest to the Wyre Forest Visitor Centre. There was also a trip into Bewdley to spend the rest of the pocket money. Many games were played throughout the day and a night where glow sticks were used. We had a great camp and look forward to returning.
