KEMP Hospice has over 270 volunteers, working in a variety of different roles. All our volunteers are supported well and are given all necessary training to their role. They work within a flexible and fun yet structured working environment where travel expenses are reimbursed.

Kidderminster Shuttle:

Current vacancies:

  • Drivers to deliver and collect our collecting boxes from local organisations. Very flexible role, good communication skills needed. Once per month or more.
  • Complementary Therapists to provide therapies for our patients in day hospice one morning each week or every other.
  • Furniture and donation centre volunteers to help sort our donated goods, one afternoon a week.
  • Family Support Workers to provide one to one adult family support for people going through a bereavement.
  • Finance volunteers to aid the finance team, must have experience or skills working in finance department. 
  • Shop volunteers in our four Kemp Hospice shops. 
  • Ambassadors to join our fundraising team, networking and attending third party events for Kemp Hospice, acting as our representative. - Day Hospice volunteers to help care for our patients, 9.30am-3.30pm every other week.
  • Receptionists to cover our reception desk one morning or afternoon per week.
