Over the half term six Seniors with five officers of the 1st Kidderminster Boys' Brigade will be flying to Germany to spend the week in Husum. This is the first time the Boys' Brigade have been to Kidderminsters twin town. It has took alot of fundrasing and planning to allow the visit to go ahead, including a coffee morning where people were invited to support the visit. At the coffee morning the Kidderminster Town Mayor John Campion and the Kidderminster Husum twinning Secretary Hilary Boyle came to lend their support.
There will be a number of activities taking place with the Pathfinder Scouts which is an offshoot of the Scouts but in some ways more similar to the Boys' Brigade.
We are certainly looking forward to this new venture and help strengthen ties between our two towns.
