13 Kidderminster Horticultural Society members will visit Husum's Open Gardens weekend from 18th to 21st June - the sixth exchange between groups of gardeners from the two towns. Most people will be staying with friends made on earlier visits but others will be discovering for the first time the delights of our twin town. As well as viewing many lovely gardens, the group will be visiting one of the tiny off shore islands. This month will also see the delivery of fresh crocus seeds from Husum for Horticultural Society members to plant. These should provide a long term supply of bulbs for the planned crocus displays around Kidderminster to mirror the spectacular show in Husum's castle park.
