The 1st Kidderminster Boys' Brigade Company travelled to Worcester for this years Founders Day Parade to mark 129 years since the Boys' Brigade was founded.
The parade assembled in Worcester town centre in the sunshine. The 1st Kidderminster Boys' and Girls' Brigade band led the parade through the city centre. Our Company also carried the Queens Colour and the Battalion colours. There were many Boys' and Girls' Brigade Companies taking part along with a number of our Boys of all ages.
There was a short church service at Samnsome Walk Baptist church where we were joined by dignitaries from variuos towns. The deputy lieutenant or Worcestershire Anne Carter made some presentation. She also thanked the Brigade for their role in the Queens visit to Worcester earlier this year.
After the service we marched back through Worcester and dismissed.
