Kidderminster and District Scouters were out in force over the Easter period doing their bit for the community by bag packing at Morrisons and Sainsbury's supermarkets. The monies raised will assist groups in their general scouting activities during the year and we are very grateful to the Wyre Forest public for their generosity. A special thanks to Morrisons and Sainsbury’s for as usual giving us excellent assistance and we hope everyone as benefited from the activities. District co ordinator Mark Searl commented “Once again the scouting movement had a successful time working in the community offering local shoppers a service. In return much needed funds were raised and everyone’s been a winner. In particular it’s good for the young people to interact with the public.”
