Scouts from across Wyre Forest have helped dig a replica First World War trench at the Kidderminster and District Campsite - Rhydd Covert. Local Scouts have also been researching First World War history and bring war stories to life, with the help of a re-enactor, fully kitted out as a soldier, explaining the significance of the anniversary. They also visited local libraries where staff helped research their ancestors who took part in the war. On the Sunday 14th September the world war 1 trench was opened to all groups for inspection, along with seeing the reinactment of the "Mad Minute".
