The 45th Pledged Plod took place on Saturday 4th October 2014. It was a bit of a wet start but turn out nice during the day. Start and finishing from the Activity Centre at the District Campsite Rhydd Covert It proceeds through natural countryside and the circuit is about 5 kilometres. Scouter Ryan Hardiman of the 15th Kidderminster Scout Group (Habberley) used his bright orange hopper to plod the route, there were a few rocky bits and slippy areas but he managed it, fellow scouters couldn't resist having a hop on it. A big thank you to the West Midland Safari & Leisure Park for the use of their facilities and of course all the sponsors who support our young people in their every day Scouting & Guiding activities. Mark Woodward the Plod Co-ordinator for kidderminster District Scouting said " It's great to see the enthusiasm of so many young people raring to get started on this adventure."
