At the AGM held in January 2015 many members had already paid their fees and joined the society again eager to scan their schedules and plan for the exciting times ahead. The speaker for the evening held on February 18 was Roger Umpelby Bsc. M Phil an avid biological gardener and professional entomologist very interested in pest control.

He also has a keen interest in the natural world and has had many years experience in consultancy and public speaking. His illustrated talk was “Presentation of flowers and produce for local shows”. Bewdley Horticultural Society hosted the Jim Greenhow Quiz at the Elim Riverside Church on March 2. Congratulations to members Christine Parker, Hazel Rogers and Vic Powell who achieved the highest points. All the guests enjoyed the delicious supper provided by Bewdley members.
