Elizabeth Kearney gave a talk which was based on the Creation at the April meeting.
A selection of lovely and very apt Bible readings, poems and prayers were illustrated with some stunning slides. It all added up to a gentle and reflective half-hour.
Hot cross buns and a cup of tea brought the Easter meeting to a close.
The next meeting – the annual coffee morning – will be on Thursday, May 9, starting at 10am, at Clent Parish Hall.
The funds raised contribute to the many worthwhile projects organised by the Mothers’ Union. Committee members are reminded to be at the parish hall at 8.30am.
The group is arranging a visit to Claverley Flower Festival, which is always an amazing display of flower arranging at its best. If you wish to go, please give your name to Jan Woolley or Audrey Walton.
