This year is the centenary of the start of the First World War, a war that changed the direction of world history forever.
Huge bloody battles had been fought since the beginning of time; but never before in recorded history did so many people die, in so many different battles, in so many different countries, for one cause. Take this opportunity to give your modern British history a foundation and discover what brought the characters, whose actions had such profound effect, together on that fateful Sunday.
