Janet Maxwell Stewart is a volunteer for the Conservation Organisation ‘Plant Life’ and gave us a very interesting insight into the ‘knock on effect’ of conserving wild plants for the benefit of wildlife in general.
The percentage of the loss of wild flowers etc is a great concern to everyone.
Perhaps we can all help a little towards ensuring their future by supporting ‘Plant Life’.
On June 11 at 8pm, there is ‘Round the world with 80 plants’ accompanied by Simon Gulliver.
The monthly meeting is on August 13 is being replaced by a day trip to Powis Castle.

On July 9 we have Joe Hawkins who is head of landscape at Hagley Hall’ coming to talk about the restoration of the gardens at the hall.
