A very happy, healthy and successful New Year to everyone.
If you love or hate the sound of Church Bells our Christmas meeting was an introduction to the ignorant (like me) to the history, charm and brotherhood surrounding the mystic of these little known objects.
The long history, the beauty of the ‘beasts’, the wonderful sounds produced from such monsters, the devotion and warmth one felt from Mark Regan as he unfolded his love and care for their existence. He started at the early age of 13 and is now the ringmaster at Worcester Cathedral. Bells, mincepies and mulled wine.
On January 14 Andy Pedrick giving a demonstration of pruning fruit trees. A complete contrast to this month and those if you that remember Andy’s previous presentations know they will have an entertaining evening. Visitor’s welcome February 11 is the AGM. Neil Cook head gardener from Hanbury Hall will be giving us a talk about our nearest NT property - Rosedene at Dodford..
The programme for 2015 is taking shape and will be ready at the March meeting and Jean is well away organizing our Outings for the summer.
See you all at Chaddesley Corbett Village Hall 7.30 for 8pm on January 14 to start off our New Year
