Adrian James and his wife Sheila visited their earlier garden designed in Kidderminster when it opened for the National Gardens Scheme. As their love for design and plants grew they needed more land and so began their triumphant mission to create an outstanding garden including so many of the ideas they had cherished over the years. After 4 years Langdale in Offenham opened for the NGS and Adrian is already planning new ideas.
At the next meeting on April 8 we welcome Diana Sandercock a member of Master Composters is giving us a Talk ‘Waste not want not, a guide to home composting’. The meeting starts 7.30pm for 8pm start at Chaddesley Corbett Village Hall. April is a lovely month and we are looking forward to the cherry trees in full blossom, the sight of the lovely colourful shoots of the perennials pushing through the soil. One of the delights in early spring is the glistening green and red leaves covering the rose bushes, often looking as attractive as when they are in bloom.
On May 13 Jim Teague will be presenting, ‘New plants and getting them to the market’
