The May meeting was the AGM. Officers and Committee were thanked and re-elected for another year.
Reports were given on the recent Leys Group meeting at Franche and also on the Vintage Afternoon Tea at Blakedown, to celebrate the WI Centenary.
Sue Chilton, WI Advisor, then took us through this year’s Resolution to be put forward at the AGM at the Albert Hall in June, which is to remove the distinction between Nursing Care and Personal Care in the assessment of the needs of individuals, in order to advance health and well being. After some discussion we voted in favour. President Ann Evanson will be attending as delegate at the Albert Hall and a number of our members will be going to Redditch for the live broadcast.
The next meeting is on June 8 at 7.15pm at Cookley School, Lea Lane.
