CHADDESLEY CORBETT GARDENERS’ CLUB: A change of speaker did not deter the members from the March meeting. Unfortunately Reg Moule was not able to come but luckily one of our regular speakers, Adrian James was available and entertained us with a fascinating Talk about varied gardens of particular interest up and down the country. Ranging from the famous roof top garden in Kensington to the Eden Project in Cornwall. A special viewing of the John Lewis Garden in Herefordshire was a bonus as this garden is not open to the public and one can only visit it privately. As usual Adrian accompanied his beautiful pictures with an amusing and entertaining Talk sparking our interest for more.
On April12 Victoria Logue will talk about gardening with and for wildlife.
Next month we will also be taking names and money for the June Outing to Hampton Court Gardens in Herefordshire. A full and busy day out. Contact Jean for more information 01527 861437
The gardening year is now coming to life in earnest. Keep an eye on the emerging seedlings in your greenhouse, mice love them and don’t water your precious new plantings too much as this can do more harm than good. Keep the garden weeds down and keep planting, planting and planting.
