In a month when the First World War is uppermost in our minds, Each Slow Dusk is a contemporary look at the impact the war had, and continues to have, on local communities.
It is about how war touches the lives of ordinary people, the stories of friends and neighbours, the legacy of the horror, the forgiveness, and the coming together.
It is a thoroughly refreshing play which puts audiences at the heart of the action, transporting you to the battlefields of 1914 and back again.
It is powerful and dramatic but not gloomy and will leave you with things to think about afterwards.
Pentabus has been touring shows to rural and community venues for 40 years.
Audiences continue to comment that they like the way they are transported into any story through the company’s inventive sets and staging.
Each Slow Dusk is no exception.
