HARTLEBURY COMMON LOCAL GROUP: Mike Southall and Steve Whitehouse combined to give a talk on interesting moths of Worcestershire. Many photographs showed that moths can range from the brightly-coloured to the more common brown, well-camouflaged, ones we might be used to. Worcestershire, especially in our own local heathland reserves, attracts some species otherwise only common in the south=east of England.
On March 6, Paul Allen, Lead Ranger, will speak on Wyre Forest Nature Reserves at Stourport Sports Club, Kingsway at 8pm, cost £3. Everyone is welcome to attend. Go to hartleburycommon.org.uk or phone Dr Joy M Rooney on 01299 877275 for further information.
