HARTLEBURY COMMON LOCAL GROUP: Local naturalist, Rosemary Winnall spoke on “An introduction to insects” - giving information on the beetles, bees, butterflies and many other types that she has observed and photographed, many locally. Rosemary is now keen to study behaviour and explained some interesting life stories of “solitary” bees and wasps that can live in the sandy soils of Hartlebury Common.
On May from 13 10.30-12pm, Owen Raybould will lead a walk on Hartlebury Common looking at “Practical plant foraging”. Meet at Wilden Top car park. Everyone is most welcome, phone Dr Joy Rooney on 01299 877275 if you would like to join this walk.
