STOURPORT MITTON WI: On August 18, WI members enjoyed a summer social evening at Bewdley Bowling Club. We were looked after by our kind hosts and were shown the basics with even some hints and tips on how to improve our game but the weather did get the better of us and rain stopped play. All was not lost because we were then able to enjoy a wonderful buffet and even buy a raffle ticket. Everyone, whether playing or spectating had a great evening and many of us agreed that it would be nice to return when the sun was shining.

The next meeting will be on September 21 at 7.30pm when we will be welcoming a local crafts person who will be giving a demonstration and talk on hand crafted pewter.
