Popular demonstrator Nicky Heal entertained the audience on July 30 with his “Creative Inspirations” Unusual and interesting arrangements combined with lovely floral designs was a superb finish to our summer programme.
On August 20 a coach party of members and friends visited Westonbury Mill Water Gardens and the journey through the beautiful town of Pembridge made a great start to the afternoon.
The gardens have an interesting varieties of fabulous plants that had not suffered from our recent hot weather.
A superb cream tea had been organised by chairman Joan Kinsella and treasurer Veronica Urwin which had been available during the afternoon.
It had been a delightful afternoon to close the summer season.
The club meeting on September 24 will be when our own talented members demonstrate their talents and refreshments will be provided.
October 29 we have Sally Taylor with “Sallying Forth Again” and November 24 Yvonne Berry will be “ Wishing us a Merry Christmas”
