At the resolutions meeting David Mills spoke on ‘SOS for honey bees’. David has been keeping bees for 40 years and gave lots of helpful information on the workings of bees within the hive. The vote on the resolution was carried unanimously.

Members were reminded of the canal walk with lunch on June 17 and visit to Orleton House on July 1. President Margaret Mills will host a fund-raising lunch at her home on Monday, July 27 and a visit to Chateau Impney with tea is proposed for August 3.

The next meeting is on Monday June 1 when Ray Sturdy will talk about the Victorian magic lantern. The competition is for a chutney recipe.
