In conjunction with Worcestershire County Council, Glyn Walters has been appointed parish paths warden for the area. He will also be working closely with local landowners.
Many accidents have occurred at A448 Stone bend over the past three years. The council has had several meetings with representatives from the county council and Julian Turner from West Mercia Police. Proposed traffic management measures include new bend warning signs with “reduce speed now” plates.
Lengthsman Bill Waldron, who also works for Chaddesley Corbett Parish Council, has been clearing autumn debris from the highways and drains.
A Neighbourhood Watch scheme has been set up in Stanklyn Lane. Any other areas who wish to participate should contact the clerk.
