There was no formal meeting at the Lickhill Community Centre last month. Instead members gathered at The Brasserie in Kidderminster for the annual New Year’s Lunch. The lunch started with a minute’s silence as members stood to pay respect to the memory of Doreen Rowland, a much-loved member of the group and joint secretary.
A most enjoyable meal was had by all and afterwards Tony thanked the staff, on behalf of the members, for their attentive service. At the next meeting, on Thursday February 21, Ned Williams will be giving an illustrated talk entitled ‘Banner Bright’.
Meetings are held at the Lickhill Community Centre, Lickhill Road, starting at 10am.
