Janine Hall, April demonstrator, had all the members laughing with her interpretation of “Born to shop (forced to work)” and funny stories - a very relaxing evening.
The Fashion Show on the following Monday exceeded all expectations with people who supported the event, and the clothes were soon flying of the rails as everyone looked for bargains.
The club has been invited to take part in the “Showcase of Leisure Activities in Kidderminster and District” to be held in St Mary and All Saints Church on 2, 3, 4 May. The club will be displaying a pedestal arrangement and information about our Club and its activities will be available.
Refreshments will be available and entrance is free so why not pop along and see what is happening in the area.
At the next meeting on May 18 Yvonne Mort will be showing members how to use pressed flowers to make cards, pictures, gifts, etc so it will be interesting to learn a new craft.
The June meeting will be an outing which takes place on June 29 when members will travel to Kiftsgate Court Gardens, a garden created by ladies, and will stop at Chipping Cambden on route for coffee so this should be an enjoyable day out.
Meetings are held on the third Monday of the month at Wolverley Church Hall at 7.30pm. We are a small, friendly club and welcome new members. For further information contact 07929984625.
