WOLVERLEY WI: The meeting on March 7 in Wolverley church hall was well attended.
David Baker gave a delightful talk on The Black Country Museum illustrated with slides. A number of members have their roots in the Black Country and childhood memories were evoked, including of Rolfe Street Baths.
Members are reminded the Leys Group Spring Meeting will be Wednesday, April 13 at 7.30pm, hosted by Trimpley Green WI.
A trip is being planned to the Needle Museum in Redditch for May 17, and a trip to the Rose Theatre later in the year.
At the next meeting on April 4 when Bev Brazier will give a talk entitled B. Beautiful. There will be the usual book stall and raffle and of course the chance for a chat with other members over tea and biscuits!
The WI meets on the first Monday of the month at 7.30pm in Wolverley Church Hall. All are always welcome to come along and see what we do, or take a look at our Facebook page for more information.
