WOLVERLEY FLOWER CLUB: The club has had a very successful and enjoyable year with very different demonstrators who took members on a flower journey as diverse as fairytale flowers, to magic moments, anything goes to turn of the page to good enough to eat and a hat demonstration. We also welcomed the Fab Five club members who gave members an enjoyable and laughter filled evening, which concluded with home made cakes.
Members also organised two trips this year, a June evening visit to Ralph Court Gardens and in August a day trip to Trentham Gardens, on both occasions the weather was kind and members were able to visit two very different and diverse gardens.
The 2016 programme concludes with our Christmas Open Evening which this year is being presented
by Bob Harris, a well known national demonstrator who will demonstrate "What Christmas does for me" This demonstration will be held on November 21 at 7.30pm at the Memorial Hall, Wolverley. The tickets are £8 each and include a glass of wine and a mince pie. So why not come along and be inspired for your own Christmas decorations and enjoy an evening with like-minded people Tickets are available in advance by contacting 01562 754218 and can be purchased on the night.
In December members will enjoy a Christmas Lunch and a Christmas demonstration by Virgina Davies and her poem reading friend Diane Kiteley.
The group meets on the third Monday in the month at Wolverley Church Hall at 7.30pm. For further information contact 01562 754218 and follow us on Facebook.
