WOLVERLEY WI: The WI ladies were again delighted to join in the Carnival spirit on July 7. The weather was glorious, and we provided welcome tea and cake refreshment. Thank you to all organisers, and particularly to our members who baked and helped out on the day, we couldn't do it without you.
The Centenary year continues with out next meeting on August 6. We are looking forward to hearing Ruth Lowe talk on Mary Quant's early life and career. Don't forget to bring along those 1960's photographs ladies.
Members were reminded of our Fish and Chip supper also taking place in August, always a fun night.
The centenary projects continue. When your sewing is completed please hand it in, and gather up all that coloured crockery too.
All are very welcome to join us at 7.30pm in Wolverley Church hall.
