Walkers has released a brand new crisp flavour which will join fan favourites like Ready Salted, Cheese & Onion and Salt & Vinegar as part of its core range.
Along with its core range, Walkers is also responsible for other products including Wotsits, Quavers, Monster Munch, Squares and Bugles, as well as various ranges like Max and Sensations.
The crisp giant has already released several new products in 2024.
In February, it added two new flavours to its Sensations range - Mature Cheddar & Chilli Chutney and Crushed Sea Salt & Black Peppercorn.
Then just a few weeks later shoppers spotted brand new Extra Flamin Hot Crunchy Wotsits in UK supermarkets.
In July, Walkers launched a new range of Wotsits and Monster Munch crisps, made with chickpeas.
Earlier this month (August) they combined with Heinz to release a sandwich-inspired crisp range which featured three new flavours.
Walkers releases brand new Smokin’ BBQ Sauce flavoured crisps
Now, Walkers has released another brand new crisp flavour - Smokin’ BBQ Sauce.
The new flavour will join Walkers' core range of crisps which already features the likes of Cheese & Onion, Ready Salted and Salt & Vinegar.
Stephanie Herbert, Marketing Senior Brand Manager from Walkers said, “For years Walkers fans have been calling out for a BBQ flavour to join our core range.
"We’ve heard those calls loud & clear so we can’t wait for crisp lovers nationwide to try out the brand-new Walkers Smokin’ BBQ Sauce flavour!”
Walkers Smokin’ BBQ Sauce crisps feature a smoky BBQ sauce flavour, which will give fans "a brand-new taste sensation".
A Walkers spokesperson continued: "Not only that, it lets Brits enjoy the perfect BBQ without fail, no matter the weather."
The new BBQ flavour crisps are available in stores across the UK now, in single packs, multipacks and grab bags.
Walkers fans can't "believe this is real" as new BBQ sauce crisps hit UK shelves
Walkers fans have already began flocking to stores across the UK to get their hands on what they are already describing as their "favourite" crisps.
One shopper spotted the new Walkers Smokin’ BBQ Sauce crisps in Tesco and posted his find on Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK.
Replying to the post, another member commented: "I NEEEEEEED THESE."
Another crisp lover said: "I don’t believe this is real?!"
Discontinued UK sweets and chocolates
While two others commented: "My fave" and "life made".
Others have been comparing them to Walkers BBQ Rib flavoured crisps which were discontinued from the company's range several years ago.
One person, on Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, said: "If these taste like the bbq rib ones they used to do il have 10 bags."

Others thinking it is a re-release of Walkers' BBQ Rib flavoured crisps said: "These were the best flavour!!"
Another added: "OH. MY. GOD. THEYRE BACK?! I NEED SOME."
While a third person commented: "My dreams have come back I do hope they taste the same."
