A WHOLE year group at a Stourport school has been asked to self-isolate after positive Covid-19 cases were confirmed.
A small number of cases were found within the Year 12 bubble at Stourport High School - and 67 are now continuing their studies remotely.
Four students tested positive with lateral flow, with two of those testing positive with a PCR. Students will return to school on July 6.
Dr Kathryn Cobain, director of public health for Worcestershire, said: “We have been advised of a small number of confirmed Coronavirus cases at Stourport High School.
"The cases were quickly identified by the school and notified to Public Health England and Worcestershire County Council Public Health.
"The relevant bubbles have been asked to self-isolate as per the national guidance and the school continues to be supported by Public Health.
"All children within the affected bubbles will continue their learning through remote access.“
