It was a mixed weekend of results for Stourport over the weekend, with the ladies faring much better than the men.

Stourport ladies firsts claimed a 2-0 victory over Beeston in the National League on Monday (October 7).

Stourport made the breakthrough when Sarah Cavendish's quick free hit found Leanne Howells-Bennett, whose baseline ball was deflected into the goal before the lead was doubled in the second half with a flick over the keeper.
