This year the presentation included a presentation by Mr Bill Allsopp from the Hereford & Worcestershire Girl's and Ladies league who awarded 17 year old Emilia Sinden ( Ladies County Team) the League's Player of the season Trophy. In each game the team have a player of the match nominated by their opposition and this trophy is awarded to the player who receives the most nominations in the league over the whole season. This is an excellent achievement.
Also on show at the presentation was the County cup, which the Ladies team won just a few weeks ago.
Howard Osullivan was on hand to capture the awards, and afterwards took many fun photographs which seem to be popping up on social networks.

Wyre Forest Phoenix 1 v 2 Kewford Eagles
The Under 10's were at home to Kewford Eagles in what was to be their final match of the season. We started off attacking right from the start and it wasn't long before Jasmine Whitmore got the ball into the back of the net giving us a 1-0 lead. The girls continued to attack and were really in control for all of the first half having a number of shots at goal but unfortunately not quite getting a goal.
The second half and Kewford came out fighting and it wasn't long before they equalised. Phoenix continued tackling well and again a number of shots were just wide of the post. Kewford then managed another goal taking it to 1-2 to them and although Phoenix never gave up that remained the final score. Goals : Jasmine Whitmore (1)
We have had an excellent season, only losing 2 matches and finishing runners up in the league.
Extremely proud of them all. Well done girls!!!
Wyre Forest Phoenix 1 v 2 Solihull Morrs Vixens
The Under 14 were at home for their final game to Solihull Moors Vixens. Unfortunately despite their efforts they failed to secure the win when they finished 1-2. Goals : (Millie Jay)

West Midlands Regional Women's League Cup
Wyre Forest Phoenix 1 (0) v Crusaders 5 (3)
WFP Ladies team Well, this was the last game of the season, and not one we wanted to play the day after the team presentation night. 11 players turned up with just over half nursing some wicked hangovers, but they managed to hold it together for 30 minutes before Crusaders (possible League champions) got their first goal. It was then a bit of a battle and the ladies were really giving their all, but unfortunately were 3-0 down by half time.
The second half saw WFP reduced to 10 players as Kirsty Roberts hobbled off shortly after scoring her goal following a recurring sprain from the previous week’s game. Crusaders took advantage of this and managed to extend the lead to 4-1. 20 minutes from time and we were reduced to 9 players as Sarah Aston had to leave the field to meet a committed appointment in Coventry. With the best will in the world, the ladies can be proud of trying hard but conceded for the fifth time. Player of the game went to keeper Tracy Evans.
All the players and management have enjoyed the season and now look forward to a short break before recruiting for 2014/15
