LEE Elam has described Harriers manager Mark Yates as being "out of order" for the alleged headbutt which floored him at the end of Saturday's clash with Exeter.
But the Grecians winger has followed his club's line by insisting he would rather let the FA deal with the incident, while he concentrates on their play-off push.
"The referee saw it and other people did as well so I will let the authorities deal with it and hopefully it will get dealt with in some way," said Elam.
"It was out of order and these things can't be allowed to happen in football.
"But I can't say too much more about it at this point, we will have to wait and see what happens.
"I just want to concentrate on my football and the game tonight. I don't want things to get in the way."
Elam picked up his fifth booking of the season in the 2-0 win at Aggborough which lifted Exeter six points above Harriers.
He will miss Saturday's visit of promotion-chasing Burton Albion, but will definitely start tonight's clash against Rushden & Diamonds.
